The Hair Nook was created by two stylists with a shared love for great hair, good books, and making people feel at home. 📚🤎 With almost 20 years of combined experience behind the chair, we wanted to create something that felt a little different—a cozy, laid-back space where you can settle in, escape the everyday chaos, and leave feeling like your best self.
Michelle Granier
I’m Michelle, a licensed cosmetologist and co-owner of The Hair Nook. I’ve been behind the chair for years, and there’s nothing I love more than making someone feel like their absolute best self when they leave my chair. I’m all about beautiful, wearable hair—whether that means a fresh blowout, dimensional color, a blonde refresh, or getting you ready for a big event. I love creating looks that feel effortless, polished, and completely you. When I’m not at The Hair Nook, I’m usually spending time with my family, chasing around my little one, or probably adding another book to my ever-growing TBR. Good hair, good books, and a cozy place to unwind—that’s my kind of appointment. 📖✨
Randi Simon
Hi, I’m Randi! I’m a licensed cosmetologist specializing in blowouts and special event styling, and one half of The Hair Nook. Before opening The Hair Nook, I spent 8 years behind the chair at BLEU Blowout Bar, where I fell in love with the art of a really good blowout and helping people feel their best. After 8 years, I decided it was time to create something of my own that combined two of my favorite things—hair and reading. The Hair Nook was created to feel like a cozy little escape where you can relax, get comfy, and leave with really good hair.
